LinkedIn Leads Notification #
If you have connected your LinkedIn tokens to DemandSense, you will receive a weekly email notification with a summary of the top companies that saw your LinkedIn ad campaigns during the previous week. This email is automatically sent and provides valuable insights into your LinkedIn campaign performance.
Subject Line: “You have [N] LinkedIn prospects to review”
The subject line of the email will contain [N], which represents the number of companies that viewed your LinkedIn ads in the past week.

What’s Included in the Email #
- Top 10 Companies: The body of the email will display the top 10 companies that saw your LinkedIn ads. These companies are selected based on specific criteria, which we will explain below.
- More Information: You can log into DemandSense to view the rest of the companies that saw your ad campaigns.
- Quick Access: At the bottom of the email, there is a button that links directly to the DemandSense system for further review.
How Are the ‘Top’ Companies Selected? #
The companies included in the notification are ranked based on their engagement with your LinkedIn ads. Here’s how we determine the order of companies for the email:
- If Companies Have Clicks:
- The top 10 companies are sorted by the number of clicks they received on your LinkedIn ad campaigns.
- If Few Companies Have Clicks:
- If only a few companies have clicked your ads, we first sort the companies by the number of clicks. Then, if needed, we will use impressions as a secondary sorting factor to complete the ranking.
- If No Clicks:
- If no companies have clicked your ads, we sort the companies based on impressions (i.e., how many times the ads were shown to these companies).
How to Disable LinkedIn Leads Notifications #
If you no longer wish to receive these weekly LinkedIn leads notifications, you can easily disable them. Here’s how:
- Go to Settings.
- Select User Settings.
- Locate Email Notifications Settings.
- Disable the LinkedIn Ads – Top Companies Report.

Token Expired Alert #
In addition to the LinkedIn leads notifications, you may also receive an alert notifying you that your LinkedIn token has expired. This alert will be sent if the token used to connect your LinkedIn account to DemandSense is no longer valid.

If you receive this alert, it means that you need to reauthorize or update your LinkedIn token to ensure continued access to LinkedIn ad data within DemandSense.
For more information on how to reauthorize your token or resolve issues with an expired token, please refer to the article Connecting LinkedIn to DemandSense. For any further questions or issues, please feel free to contact our support team, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
